Join us among the vines for a gourmet sparkling wine dinner with Alex Jacquemin, award-winning head chef at the Cat Inn, West Hoathly.
Michelin-trained Alex has expertly designed a seasonal menu to complement each of our Hindleap sparkling wines. Hosted in our beautiful marquee overlooking the vines, guests will enjoy five courses, each perfectly matched with a glass of Hindleap sparkling, with canapés and welcome drink on arrival. Each course will be introduced by Alex and the Bluebell Vineyard Winemaker, Collette O'Leary.
Born and bred in West Sussex, with a heritage of chefs in his family, Alex started his career in the kitchen 15 years ago at a small hotel in Haywards Heath before stepping up to become a commis chef. Through the years he has worked at several Michelin starred restaurants and pubs before becoming the Head Chef at The Cat in 2014, recently rated as one of the best inns in the country after earning a coveted place in the top 10 of the Good Pub Guide.. His style of food is simple yet tasty using seasonal and local ingredients where possible.
