Deep gold in colour with fine bubbles, this wine begins with toasted notes of hazelnut and nutmeg on the nose, before opening up to reveal red fruit, white peach and spice notes.

Complex and mature from extended lees ageing the wine has intense autolytic notes which show wonderful development and character.

On the palate, the wine has a ‘cracking mousse’ and fresh acidity with hints of peaches and cream, white fruits and elegant red fruit notes of raspberries and strawberry.  Well balanced with a rich, bold and exceptionally long finish.

The toasty notes and richness of this wine make it perfect to match with food including smoked fish, chicken and game dishes.
